Yale Journal of Law & the Humanities

Home

Since its inception in 1989, the Yale Journal of Law & the Humanities (YJLH) has become a premier forum for examining the intersection of law and the liberal arts. YJLH is grounded in the understanding that law feeds and is fed by the world around it, and within our pages, scholars from around the world explore those relationships as an interdisciplinary community.

Submissions to YJLH are reviewed by graduate students at Yale Law School and across the university in collaboration with our Editorial Advisory Board. We publish two issues each year, Fall and Spring, and accept submissions on a rolling basis.

Authors may submit their work for Volume 35 Issue 1 via email (yjlh@yale.edu) or Scholastica. Submissions should have a clear connection to both law and the humanities, broadly defined. Submissions for Volume 35 Issue 1 will be reviewed over the summer.

At this time, we are no longer accepting expedite requests.

For any questions, comments, and submissions, we look forward to hearing from you at yjlh@yale.edu.
